Faculty

Shannon E. McCall, RHIA, CCS, CCS-P, CPC, CPC-I, CEMC, CRC, CCDS, CCDS-O, is the director of HIM and coding for HCPro. She oversees all of the Certified Coder Boot Camp programs. In addition, she specializes in creating custom designed educational programs for Propel Coding membership clients. McCall was one of the original ACDIS Advisory Board members and one of the contributors to the development of the CCDS-O certification examination.

Melissa Koehler, DHA, MBA, RHIA, CHDA, CDIP, CCS, CCS-P, CCDS, CSBI, CRCR, CSPR, FAHIMA, is assistant vice president of health information management at Inova Health System, where she oversees enterprise coding, clinical documentation integrity, and HIM operations.​ With more than 30 years of experience in HIM, Koehler specializes in coding operations, compliance, automation, and AI in revenue cycle workflows. She has led the implementation of autonomous coding and AI-supported technologies and frequently speaks on the evolving role of coders and HIM professionals in highly automated environments.​
