About the Author

Dr. Brian Garavaglia is a healthcare administrator, gerontologist, and college instructor who has worked for more than 30 years within the acute, subacute, and long-term care settings.  He has also worked as an older adult program director, consultant, clinician, and lecturer in graduate medical education for family care and internal medicine residents related to issues of the aging patient in health care.  He holds a particular interest in the area of older adults and long-term health care.
