Presented by: Arta Kelmendi-Doko, MD, PhD

Physicians commonly use artificial intelligence–powered electronic health record functionality to help meet new standards of accountability, reimbursement, and quality reporting. When this technology is well integrated into a facility’s workflow, it can improve the quality of documentation entered at the time of note creation and enable more accurate coding.

Join expert Arta Kelmendi-Doko, MD, PhD, for this 60-minute webinar as she discusses physician documentation and coding using computer-assisted technology. She will provide insights on how physicians, coders, and CDI specialists can use new and emerging technology to speed up data entry and record reviews. She will also describe how this technology may be used to improve scores on quality-of-care metrics. The presentation will be followed by a live Q&A.

At the conclusion of this program, participants will be able to:

  • Describe the role of CDI staff, coding professionals, and physicians in ensuring documentation integrity
  • Explain how computer-assisted technology can be used to speed up record review
  • Improve quality-of-care outcomes using computer-assisted technology
