Risk adjustment brings a new set of challenges to CDI. In the outpatient setting, it is more than reviewing for HCC capture. Program success involves collaboration with multiple stakeholders, from administrative leadership to IT support and payer representatives.

This webinar will share the challenges experienced and lessons learned in implementing and expanding a successful, risk adjustment–based outpatient CDI program in an academic health system. Whether your organization is planning to start an outpatient CDI program or is already established in the outpatient setting, join Lori LaFaver and Barbi Kantner as they share all of the things they wished they knew before diving into outpatient CDI.

At the conclusion of this program, participants will be able to:

  • Define risk adjustment
  • Identify key performance indicators for CDI in risk adjustment
  • Identify two collaborating partners for a successful program
