OSHA Annual Retraining for Medical Facilities satisfies OSHA's annual bloodborne pathogens retraining requirements for healthcare employees exposed to this hazard, and takes a best practices approach to hazard communication retraining. The course covers topics such as biohazardous waste, vaccinations, decontaminating equipment, and tips for working with and labeling hazardous chemicals. Employees will be able to identify potentially infectious materials at their facilities, protect themselves from hazardous chemicals, and describe how a facility’s OSHA program helps employees avoid exposure to safety hazards. The course also meets GHS awareness requirements by covering Safety Data Sheets, pictograms, and the new labeling systems.
