Get tips for using telehealth to supplement in-person visits and improve quality of care while avoiding future scrutiny from Medicare reviewers.

The COVID-19 pandemic has led agencies to find innovative ways to reach their patients. Learn how one Florida agency has been using telehealth to improve quality of care, reduce rehospitalizations, and create efficiencies. Through the use of a communication application platform, Concierge Home Care has been able to leverage technology to stay on top of assessments and reinforce patient education.

During this webinar, the agency’s founder and COO will share the steps Concierge took to implement telehealth and the lessons learned, including the types of patients telehealth is good for, how to document telehealth to support its use, and the best way to use telehealth to supplement in-person visits.

At the conclusion of this program, participants will be able to:

  • Refine processes around using technology to supplement in-person visits
  • Effectively document telehealth visits to avoid compliance risks
  • Identify which patients would be a good fit for telehealth visits

Linda Murphy is the chief operating officer and co-founder of Concierge Home Care, which operates throughout the Florida market touching a daily census of over 7,500 seniors. A graduate of UF, Murphy started her career as an emergency room charge nurse, then discovered her true career passion—home health—in 2003 after recovering from stage III breast cancer. She spent the next 12 years working for a large, publicly traded home health provider. She advanced from clinical leader in the field, to directorship of a small home health agency, to responsibility for sales and operations of 31 offices throughout the Florida market. In June 2015, Murphy had the opportunity to apply all that she had learned by launching Concierge Home Care.
