Capture Care Management Revenue: Navigate CCM and TCM Codes
Brenda Edwards, CPC, CDEO, CPB, CPMA, CPC-I, CEMC, CRC, CPMS, CMRS, CMCS, Director of Auditing - Crossroads Health Resources

Chronic care management (CCM) and transitional care management (TCM) have been booming. Are you taking advantage of the revenue opportunity? Payments for some care management codes far exceed typical E/M rates. TCM codes 99495 and 99496 pay $208 and $282, respectively, for example. And you may be doing CCM work already without getting paid for it.

Learn all about the new add-on code for CCM services (99439), which replaced the outgoing HCPCS code Jan. 1, as well as a newer subset of principal care management (PCM) codes (G2064, G2065). You’ll also gain key tips for implementation that could help bring significant revenue to your practice this year and get a rundown of the latest documentation standards for the full range of current CCM codes (99490, 99491, 99487, 99489) and TCM codes (99495, 99496). And our expert speaker will walk you through recent auditing activity from OIG and provide a game plan to secure your CCM and TCM claims.
