Provider credentialing is rightfully getting its due as the essential starting point of both the revenue cycle process and the provision of safe care. Still, like other functions, the medical staff office/CVO must demonstrate to its internal and external customers it can succeed using “lean” operation principles.

In this 90-minute webinar, speakers Christine Bergeron and Jennifer Cloud will empower leaders and credentialing professionals to learn and speak metrics—the language of administrators. Join us for a unique perspective to learn what measurable productivity benchmarks and walk away with tools to create your key performance indicators (KPI) to track and share for maximum impact.

At the conclusion of this program, participants will be able to:

  • Cite two factors responsible for the increase in credentialing specialists being asked to track and report on performance measures
  • Formulate options for reporting key metrics to internal and external customers
  • Illustrate a practical approach to presenting data that shows improvements are needed

  • Why performance metrics matter: Integrity, Transparency, Accountability
  • Selecting, measuring, and reporting
    • What are measurable productivity metrics and KPIs?
    • How do you create a status report?
    • What KPIs do internal customers want vs. external customers?
    • Reporting: How can you determine what indicators best reflect your overall goal and intent?
    • How should you handle reporting on areas that need improvement?
