Meet the Speaker

TaraJo Vaught, MSN, RN, CCDS, is a clinical analyst for 3M Health Information Systems (HIS) in Murray, Utah. She received her Master of Science in Nursing from Duquesne University, and her certification as a clinical documentation specialist from ACDIS.

She has 12 years of nursing experience in the operating room, endoscopy, and adult inpatient mental health fields, and spent the last five years in CDI. Prior to joining the 3M clinical content team in July 2022, she worked as a supervisor for CDI for a revenue cycle company. She is currently leading the 3M HIS content team’s content standardization and integrity project.
