This on-demand program will assist activity coordinators to create strong and enduring activities programs that motivate residents to participate. Expert Jillian Thomas RCFE-Certified, CDP, will share methods to reduce time spent searching for new activities and will review how to design resident-driven activities program, how to reduce the risk of having disengaged employees and residents to improve census and patient care and quality, and satisfaction scores.

Meet The Speaker 

Jillian ThomasJillian Thomas acts as Director of Assisted Living Operations for Covenant Retirement Communities. In this position, she is responsible for the coordination and operational oversight of CRC’s assisted living & memory care programs within its 13 retirement communities nationwide.

Thomas has more than 10 years of health care and management experience in the senior housing industry. Prior to joining CRC, she began her career as a Certified Nursing Assistant and achieved the Executive Director role within a 80 bed Assisted Living and Memory Care, multi-building community in northern Illinois, in 2005.

She is a dementia practitioner, and holds a certification in assisted living Administration in Wisconsin and RCFE Certification in California. Thomas is also a member of the Leading Age Illinois Assisted Living Cabinet, and is certified as a support group facilitator for the Alzheimer’s Association.
