Coders must familiarize themselves with the fiscal year (FY) 2024 ICD-10-CM code updates and their impact on code sequencing and payment before these changes go into effect on October 1. Providers must ensure their teams are well informed and coding to the highest degree of specificity to ensure accurate reimbursement.

During this 60-minute program, expert speaker Shannon E. McCall, RHIA, CCS, CCS-P, CPC, CPC-I, CEMC, CRC, CCDS, CCDS-O, will help you sift through new, revised, and deleted ICD-10-CM codes for FY 2024. She will also review complication or comorbidity (CC)/major complication or comorbidity (MCC) designation changes and updates to the ICD-10-CM Official Guidelines for Coding and Reporting. Meet the Speaker

Shannon E. McCall, RHIA, CCS, CCS-P, CPC, CPC-I, CEMC, CRC, CCDS, CCDS-O, is the director of HIM and coding for HCPro, a Simplify Compliance brand. She oversees all of the Certified Coder Boot Camp programs. In addition, she specializes in creating custom designed educational programs for PROPEL Coding membership clients. McCall was one of the original ACDIS Advisory Board members and one of the contributors to the development of the CCDS-O certification examination.
