Meet the Author :

Margret K. Amatayakul, MBA, RHIA, CHPS, FHIMSS, is president of MargretA Consulting, LLC, in Schaumburg, IL, an independent consulting firm that focuses on EHR readiness preparation, selection, implementation, and adoption strategies, as well as HIPAA/HITECH assessment and compliance. She is also an adjunct professor in the health informatics masters program at the College of St. Scholastica and a principal in Health IT Certification, LLC. She is on the HIMSS Board of Directors and is a former associate executive director of AHIMA. She is the author of the first edition of The No-Hassle Guide to EHR Implementation, The No-Hassle Guide to EHR Policies, and Guide to HIPAA Auditing, all from HCPro.
