Course Overview

The new Patient Driven Payment Model (PDPM) goes into effect October 1st, 2019. While staff will continue to rely on computer software to convert MDS assessment data to calculate reimbursement rates, it will be vital to fully understand the rate calculation methodology to properly identify opportunities to maximize reimbursement and accurately project revenue.

Does the course require any previous experience or training?
No. However, because of the fast-paced nature of the course, it is highly recommended (but not required) that participants have at least one year of experience working in a long-term care setting.

When you arrive at class, you will receive an extensive notebook of course materials. These manuals will contain all the materials needed for the training.
