AUDIOCONFERENCE ON CD OR AUDIO ON-DEMAND
Sponsored by Briefings on APCs
presented on August 25, 2008
The 2009 OPPS proposed rule is out, and your success in reporting and billing your outpatient services and procedures starting January 1, 2009 depends on getting ready now.
HCPro's 6th Annual OPPS Program will help you understand:
- What proposed changes will affect providers the most if accepted as final for 2009
- Which areas are most likely to change from a coding, billing, operational, and financial perspective, and what providers can do now to prepare
- How to provide comments to CMS on the proposed rule and have an impact on the final regulations that will be published later this year
- And much more!
Once again, HIM and coding professionals can rely on HCPro to tackle the OPPS proposed rule with confidence. Expert speakers, Jugna Shah, MPH and Valerie A. Rinkle, MPA, join us for our 6th annual program to help you navigate the issues raised in the proposed rule, understand the key changes proposed for 2009 OPPS, and comment on them to CMS.
CMS published the proposed rule on July 3, 2008 and you can download it here. It contains sweeping changes to radiology payments, Type B ED payments, incident-to-coverage, packaging, and more.
You'll know where CMS is headed in 2009 when you understand the proposed rule. And with that understanding you'll be in a position to plan your own internal education and process changes.
