MEET THE SPEAKERS
Richard A. Sheff, MD, CMSL, is the chairman and executive director of The Greeley Company. He brings over 25 years of healthcare management and leadership experience to his work with physicians, hospitals and healthcare systems across the country. Dr. Sheff, with a distinctive combination of medical, healthcare and management acumen, develops tailored and valued solutions to the unique needs of physicians and hospitals. Sue Dill Calloway, RN, MS, JD, is the director of hospital patient safety for OHIC Insurance and the Doctors Company. Prior to her current role, she was the vice president of Legal Services,privacy officer, and compliance officer at a community hospital. She does frequent lectures on legal and risk management issues and writes numerous publications. Sue has been a medico-legal consultant for over 30 years. She has done many educational programs for nurses, physicians, and other health care providers on topics such as nursing law, ethics and nursing, malpractice prevention, HIPAA medical record confidentiality, EMTALA anti-dumping law, Joint Commission issues, CMS issues, documentation, medication errors, medical errors, documentation, pain management, federal laws for nursing, sentinel events, patient safety and other similar topics.
