About the authors
Stuart H. Platt, PT, MSPT, has been a licensed physical therapist for over 18 years and has practiced in a variety of clinical settings. His company, Appropriate Utilization Group, provides utilization management consulting services in the physical medicine and rehabilitation arena. Prior to starting his consulting company, Platt directed the physical therapy review division of a national physical medicine and rehabilitation
(PM&R) consulting firm and was the manager of a large outpatient physical therapy clinic.
