The How-To Manual to Rehab Documentation presented on July 17, 2008
Will your outpatient practice be ready when Medicare comes knocking at your door?
It is a common misunderstanding that if Medicare is paying your claims that everything is correct and problem-free. Unfortunately, that is always not the case. Both hospital and private practice therapy settings need to have a solid compliance plan, complete with risk assessments, to withstand scrutiny during an audit.
You can survive a Medicare audit with the first hand advice provided during the 90-minute audioconference How to Survive a Medicare Audit: Develop your compliance plan and risk assessment strategies. We tailored this program to suit outpatient rehab units in hospitals AND private practice therapy settings. Our experienced consultant Nancy Beckley, MS, MBA, CHC, provides you and your staff members with practical strategies and tips to prepare for an audit and to understand Medicare documentation requirements.
