Complex ASC orthopedic coding could be cutting into your bottom line
Complicated orthopedic anatomy and tricky coding guidelines can be a recipe for missed reimbursement in the ASC setting. Even experienced coders can overlook reimbursement opportunities because CMS only recently approved certain procedures for ASCs.
Protect your bottom line and give your staff members the training they need in just 90-minutes when you listen to HCPro’s audioconference, ASC Orthopedic Changes: Confront Coding and Financial Repercussions of the Final Rule. This program will help your staff members understand the new orthopedic payment policies for ASCs and how to capture orthopedic codes, ancillary services, and supplies correctly. Plus, our expert speakers Susan Garrison, PCS, FCS, CPC, CHC, CPC-H, CCS-P, CPAR, and Christi Sarasin, CCS, CPC-H, FCS,discuss possible future ASC changes such as bundling and other procedures that are currently specific to ASCs, step-by-step coding examples, and quality measures.
