Is your staff over or under-coding lower extremities?
Minimize your risk and maximize your reimbursement!
Peripheral vascular procedures run the risk of over and under-coding, and without the right training for your staff, these problems are inevitable. When it comes to this troublesome specialty, coding staff often capture charges that your hospital/physician practice is not entitled to, or walk away from billable services, supplies, and other revenue you deserve.
To minimize your risk and boost your charge capture, you and your staff need a workable understanding of the anatomy and terminology of the lower extremity. You also need to be able to identify common lower extremity procedures, such as angioplasties arthrectomies, other associated interventions, and billable supplies to code accurately.
HCPro is proud to present this live 90-minute audioconference, tailored to teaching billers and coders— in both the physician and facility settings— accurate peripheral vascular coding techniques. Our experts will deliver a thorough explanation of the lower extremity, including terminology, anatomy, procedural approaches, and necessary modifiers. You’ll also get tips to make sense of physicians’ complex operative reports. Plus, our speakers will teach you what you can— and can’t— code separately, so you’re not at risk for over-coding.
