Elaine King, MHS, RHIA, CHP, CHDA, CDIP, FAHIMA, AHIMA-Approved ICD-10 CM/PCS Trainer, is Senior Consultant for Nuance Communications in Dunwoody, Georgia. She works with various outpatient CDI programs investigating, challenging, and striving to improve outpatient clinical documentation and quality patient care. King served previously as director of health information in acute care settings and focused on providing quality documentation and coding for inpatient and outpatient environments.
