The Preceptor Program Builder

Preceptor experts Diana Swihart and Jim Hansen will discuss how to build perceptored relationships on a strong foundation by creating a mutually supportive partnership.

Preceptored relationships can be challenging. Too often relationships are damaged, new nurses to get frustrated, and preceptors burn out.

This 90-minute webcast will discuss how to create preceptor programs that set preceptors and preceptees on the path to success. Experts will explain how to establish expectations and define the responsibilities of both the preceptor and preceptee. Using real-life scenarios, you’ll receive actionable strategies and practical tips and tools to build and improve your preceptor program to support your nursing team.

At the conclusion of this program, participants will be able to:

  • Differentiate the roles of the preceptor and preceptee
