Meet the Speakers
Molly Clark, PharmD, MHA, is Senior Executive Director of Quality and Safety at Sanford Health. She has been at Sanford since 2007. She earned her Doctor of Pharmacy Degree at Drake University in 2003 and then completed her post-graduated residency at Northwestern Memorial Hospital in Chicago, IL where she stayed on as a clinical pharmacist and then moved into a role in patient safety, with a focus on medication reconciliation research. She completed her Master’s in Healthcare Administration from the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill in 2010. In her current role she oversees quality, patient safety, performance and process improvement, patient experience and clinical standardization.
Megan Maddox, PharmD, BCPS, CDE, is a Medication Safety Officer at Sanford Medical Center in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. She has been in this role since 2006. She also has medication safety responsibilities for the Sanford Clinics in the Sioux Falls Region. Megan graduated with her Pharm.D in 1998 from South Dakota State University. She completed a specialty residency in Family Medicine at St John’s Mercy Medical Center in St. Louis, MO. After completing her residency, she worked in academia holding faculty positions at St. Louis College of Pharmacy in Missouri and Campbell University School of Pharmacy in North Carolina. While at Campbell University, she was a clinical pharmacist at Duke University’s Family Medicine Residency Program. Prior to her current position she was employed with GlaxoSmithKline as a Medical Information Scientist and then a Regional Medical Scientist, supporting their Cardiovascular, Respiratory, & Endocrinology products. Megan is a Board Certified Pharmacotherapy Specialist as well as a Certified Diabetic Educator.
