Level of Program:

Capturing cohesive medical staff data across increasingly sprawling healthcare networks can seem like a near-impossible pursuit. But for several health systems, a fresh perspective, a clear strategy, and some aptly applied data know-how have made maintaining consistent practitioner data an organizationwide reality. By favoring master data management (MDM) techniques over traditional consolidation approaches, several organizations have successfully integrated medical staff and credentialing data for more than 50 hospitals and hundreds of ambulatory clinics across multiple states.

During this 90-minute webinar, Brigitte R. Workman, BA, will reveal how her system used MDM principles to revolutionize its data strategy. Attendees will learn how to develop a single, enterprisewide provider source of truth and to improve the quality of credentialing data without fundamentally changing its contents.

At the conclusion of this program, participants will be able to:

  • Understand how provider master data management (MDM) can be harnessed to streamline credentialing, privileging, and other medical staff processes
  • Identify the benefits of developing a provider MDM–based source of truth for medical staff data
