Tanja Twist, MBA/HCM

Level of Program:

Effective denials management is dependent on knowing how to interpret and work with denials data. But given the sheer volume of this data, some healthcare organizations may be tempted to write off many denials, leaving significant dollars on the table in the process. This outcome can be avoided, however; through strategic data management, organizations can build effective denials management teams and processes for turning denials into successful appeals. Listeners will learn how to manage denials data, analyze the impact of key state and federal regulations, and use data to identify and address the root causes of denials.

During this 90-minute program, expert speaker Tanja Twist, MBA/HCM, will lead listeners through this process as well as dive into common denials and explain how to track denials trends. She will offer guidance on creating an effective denials management program and targeting denials/appeals education. Twist will also explain best practices for reducing denials and crafting appeals.
