Meet the Speakers
Dinah Brothers, RN, JD, is a nurse attorney based in Texas. Brothers is a solo practitioner specializing in civil litigation. In her practice, she defends healthcare professionals in civil and administrative proceedings. Prior to becoming an attorney, Brothers worked as a nurse for 10 years, including a stint as a nurse manager. Her nursing experience includes psychiatric nursing, nursing management, and nursing education.
Eileen L. Dohmann, MBA, BSN, RN, NEA-BC, is the senior vice president and chief nursing officer for Mary Washington Healthcare in Fredericksburg, Virginia, where she is responsible for nursing practice and patient care across the two-hospital health system. In addition, she oversees quality & patient safety, clinical research, infection prevention and control, and home health care hospice. Dohmann’s passion at Mary Washington Healthcare has been enhancing patient care quality and service through accountability, focused management, and leadership development of nursing leaders.
With more than 30 years of experience as a nurse, Dohmann is an advocate for the profession and practice of nursing. Prior to her roles at Mary Washington Healthcare, she served as administrator for several home health agencies and hospices, where she started and led new programs and services.
