Meet the Speaker 

Trisha A. Wills, MD, CCS, CPC, serves as a regulatory specialist for HCPro, a division of BLR, teaching the Certified Coder Boot Camp® programs. Her duties also focus on physician ICD-10-CM/PCS documentation education. She has over 15 years of experience in the healthcare industry, encompassing clinical, coding, auditing, training, and compliance expertise. Previously, Wills served as a coding compliance specialist and educator for a 550-bed general medical/surgical hospital, where she developed and presented ICD-10 educational materials to coding and clinical staff. Prior to this, she worked as a coder in both the inpatient and outpatient settings. Wills has extensive auditing experience and was a trainer for Healthcare Effectiveness Data and Information Set (HEDIS®) measures.
