Implement Changes From the 2017 OPPS Final Rule - On-Demand
Thursday, December 1, 2016
Jugna Shah, MPH
Valerie A. Rinkle, MPA
Level of Program:
Each year CMS issues the OPPS proposed and final rules, which detail the changes to Medicare outpatient coding and billing. There are coding changes providers must implement by January 1, as well as major implications for financial staff.
During this program, our expert speakers Jugna Shah, MPH, and Valerie A. Rinkle, MPA, will analyze the final rule and deliver a comprehensive update on the major changes coming for 2017 under OPPS. When you understand where CMS is headed, you'll be in a position to plan your own internal education and process changes.
Note: An updated agenda will be available after the rule is released (anticipated the last week of October).

- Understand the nuances and complexities associated with assessing the financial impact of CMS' packaging changes
