She has worked with Fortune 100 companies in the healthcare, financial, aerospace manufacturing, and pharmaceutical industries. Along with her nursing credentials, she has an MBA and a doctorate in human development and education. She was formerly a nurse manager at the University of Rochester Medical Center in New York.
